Sustainability Dinner

TSC's big event of the semester is the Dewick Sustainability Dinner! This Thursday, November 8th, the entire dinner, including the menu, signs, and informational booths, will be dedicated to sustainability. This means locally-sourced, in-season foods; additionally, there will even be live music performances!

The Sustainability Dinner is normally the biggest dining hall theme night on campus, so we need volunteers! If you want to come talk to your fellow students about the benefits of eating local, organic and sustainably grown food, sign up for a time slot here. You get a free meal ticket and a sweet TSC shirt. Hope to see you there!

Droplets

The Tufts Institute of the Environment is co-sponsoring an event at the Art Gallery called "Droplets: Short Talks and Presentations on Water"  on Wednesday from 6-8pm. The event is similar to TED in style, with nine different water-related presentations. Please contact Elizabeth Mahaffy if you have any questions about the event.

Also, TSC will be hosting a bottled vs. tap water taste test at the reception afterwards! If you'd be interested in helping out with the water taste test, email myself or Katie Segal. Volunteer sign-up sheet to follow!

ExCollege Election Night Extravaganza

On Tuesday, November 6th, starting at 7:30pm, the Experimental College is hosting an Election Night Extravaganza in the Mayer Campus Center where the Tufts community can gather to watch the election results unfold. Students for a Just and Stable Future will be tabling about environmental issues in the election. Come out to support them, and enjoy finding out the results of the election!
